In this 2019 fire burn many parts of Borneo. It's including the farming area of dayak villager. We fight to stop fire for a month but lucky we are raining is come to help us. Berdasarkan citra satelite setidaknya ada 30.000 hutan mengalami kebakaran di Kalimantan. Kehancuran hutan ini bisa saja lebih luas dari jumlah yang di perkirakan. Ribuan satwa liar kehilangan tempat tinggal dan orang-orang terserang penyakit ISPA. Kini setelah semua pertarungan menyelamatkan hutan dari api maka yang tersisa hanyalah pohon-pohon yang tumbang dan daun-daun yang berguguran. Apa yang dapat dilakukan saat ini adalah menanam kembali hutan yang telah terbakar, menjadikannya hutan kembali dimasa depan. Ini memang tidak mudah tetapi setidaknya ada sebuah proses pengambalian roh hutan itu agar tetap menjadi hutan seperti semua. Yang tidak kalah pentingya adalah menjaga hutan yang ada dimasa musim kemarau berikutnya agar tidak terjadi musibah kebakaran yang menghancurkan lebih banyak hutan dan lahan pertanian. The rain has come and soaked all forests that burns before. The last hotspots are stopped now, this is the end of the fight to stop the fire in East Borneo. This is a happy day for the team and for all wildlife around the forest.Let's rebuild again all forest already burn, that's our commitment and promise to our mother nature. Already 2 week we try stop fire, togther with villager. This time 8 fire spot in Merasa Village, more than 100 people come in this fight to save forest. There still many hotspot and fire need to stop tomorrow. Tonight we still waiting for fire close to farming area villager and forest to make sure the fire not burn it all when every one sleep. The fires are burning all around Merasa Village at the moment. Merasa Village is home to many Dayak families and also the base for us.
